Babs founded Poetic Reality Productions with the vision that any person's reality can be transformed into visual poetry. With her blend of classic training and cutting-edge imaging techniques, Babs works to bring each client a collection of photographs and a dynamic, entertaining wedding film that truly complement one another. Babs began studying photography, video, and filmmaking in her teens, and later earned a degree in Film Production from New York University. When not making masterpieces from memories, Babs enjoys Bikram yoga, gardening, and playing cello.

When Scott met Babs on a film set in Los Angeles, little did he know that the two would soon fall in love and build a photo/video business capturing the love of others. He uses his background as a film director and acting teacher to set clients at ease, and he is always looking for new and exciting ways to tell each wedding day story. He lends his keen ear to the audio mixing process, carefully blending each component of the wedding day soundtrack. Scott's hobbies include scuba diving, gardening, and writing the next great American film.

As soon as Joey began practicing the art of photography, she realized one thing- she loves to see a smile. Her photo sessions are fun and relaxing, and she dedicates herself to catching each subject in their most flattering light. A member of Professional Photographers of North Carolina, Joey worked with several top photographers before joining Poetic Reality Productions, and we consider ourselves very lucky to have her as part of the team. In the few moments Joey doesn't have a camera in her hand, she enjoys her work as a youth leader and singing as often as she gets a chance.

Michael worked on his first wedding with Poetic Reality in 2006, and now regularly films events as a senior videographer. He comes to us on loan from the Greensboro News and Record, where he works full-time as their online videographer. Prior to the News and Record, Michael worked as Special Projects Producer for the WCWG CW 20 Network. Michael's hobbies include riding BMX bikes, making videos of BMX bikes, and collecting BMX bikes.
